  • 1998 - Present: U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corp., USNSCC Atlantic Seabee Battalion, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Currently hold PO3 rate. Courses taken in marksmanship, first aid, CPR, etc.

Experience:
  • 1989: Born and raised on the water on Pomeroy Cove, Dover, NH, began boating career bundled in a laundry basket in the bow of my dad's 18' O'Day day sailor.
  • 1992: Captain of 2 man rubber raft tied to the end of our dock on a 100 foot line.
  • 1995 - 1999: 12' Jon boat "Tough One", 5.5hp Johnson
  • 1998: Certificate nominating me official Pomeroy Cove Harbormaster. Presented to me by three neighbors, they even had it signed by NH Governor Jeanne Shaheen.
  • 1999 - 2000: 15' Lone Star Pride 'n Joy, 20 hp Mariner
  • 2000 - 2003: 15' Corson Snow Day, 20 hp Mariner
  • 2001 - 2002: Little Bay Marina, Dover, NH. Worked seasonally as a general yard hand and store helper for the summer. Cleaned boats, kept up docks and grounds, sold bait and tackle to customers, pumped gas at the gas dock, helped marina members with various needs including delivering oil, bait, fishing gear, etc. out in the moorage, towing disabled boats, and even an emergency water rescue. Used these skills to not only work on my own boat, but also my dad's 23' Alberg sloop Linnet's Wings including electrical wiring, installing depth gage, scraping and painting the bottom, and various other maintenance tasks.
  • 2003 - Present: 18' Cobia Job Site, 110 hp Johnson
  • 2003 - 2004: Benn's Marine, Dover, NH. Worked seasonally alongside the mechanics as they worked on various types and sizes of engines as well as participating in a lot of general boat care and maintenance work.
  • 2003 - Present: Honda Barn, Stratham, NH. General year-round facilities help part-time after school and weekends; full time vacations and Summers. Also work directly for owner on projects around his house and on his 42' Duffy.
