Hi. I'm Colin Rose. My dad set these pages up for me (and one for my sister Marissa).

Take a look around, and see what I'm up to! If you are interested, you can see my current resume.

I graduated 06/14/05 from Dover High School where I concentrated on trades oriented studies. My interests have always been geared toward things practical or mechanical that I can visualize and get my hands on.

I have been in the Sea Cadets since 1998 and that has created an interest for me in possibly going into the Coast Guard when I get older. I have been to a couple of week long training exercises at the US Coast Guard station, Newcastle, NH. and really like what I see them doing.

The summer of 2001, I had a part time job at Little Bay Marine, just around the point from where I live. I was even able to drive my boat to work when the weather is nice! I love the water and boats- as you will see if you look at the pages on this site.

For the summer of 2002, I got a job working up at Benn's Marine in Dover, NH at the head of the Cochecco River, right off the downtown area. I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to actually work alongside the mechanics as they worked on various types and sizes of engines as well as participating in a lot of general boat care and maintenance work.

I was able to return to Benn's Marine for work during the summer of 2003 and I also got a part time job with a friend who owns a 42' Duffy that I clean up for him or work for him in his yard. I have been working for Roger ever since at his house and at his business "The Honda Barn" in Stratham, NH.

In the Fall of 2005, I started school for an Associates Degree in Automotive Technology in Nashua, NH, and graduated in April of 2007.

Some stuff I do...

General Pictures General Pictures:

Sea Cadets Sea Cadets. I joined the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corp Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Atlantic Sea Bee Battalion when it was formed in the Summer of 1998.

Pride 'n Joy Pride 'n Joy was my 15' 1957 LoneStar with a 20hp Mariner engine. I got her in the Fall of 1998 after someone rammed and then stole my 12' jon boat one night while it was tied up out on our mooring. Unfortunately, on 10/09/99 a seam let go on the Pride 'n Joy and down she went.

Snow Day Snow Day was a 15' Corson with my old 20hp Mariner. It was delivered on 06/17/00 to replace the Pride 'n Joy.
