Saturday 05/02/20 we got Sue's new fire pit cranked up! It had been delivered a couple of weeks ago, but the weather just hasn't been something you'd want to relax around it outside.

But today had been so beautiful that not only did we get the unit set up, but we had our first glass of wine in the Adirondack chairs up the hill by the screen house! In fact, it was so warm in the sun that I had to take my fleece jacket off.

Sue got this shot of me already up by the screen house with my glass of wine raised to celebrate the day. You can see the almost full moon rising behind me over the tree line.

Later that afternoon, Sue had been talking to Cathy and we agreed that we'd all have a virtual gathering around our respective fire pits at 9:00 pm via the Duo phone app.

We headed out just before 9:00, and got it fired up. Once the motion floods went out from Beau running around, it was really pretty against the blackness of the night sky.

Sue is all set now, and would have just stayed right there all night if she could have.
