Sue and I went up to our new home today, Friday 01/27/17, to check on the renovation work. Our contractor Steve had told us that he had the stairs all ripped out, and we really wanted to see what that looked like.

To celebrate this final major part of the demolition phase of the renovation work, Sue made up a super batch of chili for him and Art.

Next up will be to frame in the new stairs. They will have much more managable 7 1/4 inch risers as opposed to the current 9 inchs.
